Welcome back to Term 3! This term will be a busy term and we encourage you to keep up to date with all events and via the College App. For details on how to download and use the App, please click here.
We are pleased to inform you that all NAPLAN results for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9 have been mailed to parents/carers.
Our College takes immense pride in the achievements of our students. We are eager to review our teaching and learning programs to further enhance these results and identify key focus areas for our students moving forward.
Term 3 is busy for our Year 8 and 10 students as they eagerly choose their subjects, they will study for Stage 5 and 6.
Year 10 students will this week receive the lines generated from the interest they showed from their first preferences last term. Students will be asked to review their selections to ensure they are happy with them as they enter Stage 6 next year.
Year 8 will this week receive the codes so they can input their preference they would like to study next year in Year 9. Students are asked to select four preferences for the two subjects they will be studying next year.
As our Year 12 students embark on their final term at the College, they are in our thoughts. This term is filled with significant “rite of passage” activities such as their Valedictory Service, Valedictory Dinner, and their final day of school, which includes an activity day. Until then, it is encouraging to witness our students work diligently on completing their Assessment Programs, with Trial Exams starting late next week (Week 4). Many are also focused on their Major Works, and we wish them all the best in their endeavours.
We would like to remind our Year 12 students that there is still time to make small adjustments to maximise their results. We have faith in their abilities and believe they can achieve remarkable things. We encourage students to speak with their teachers, establish good study practices, and utilise the time they have now to hone their learning and solidify their understanding. By making the most of this final term, they can truly excel and achieve their full potential.
We ask the Arndell community to join us in supporting and praying for our students during these final moments of their schooling journey.
God Bless,
Mrs Amy Woodward
